My name is Jessica, and I’m 41 years old. I’m a wife and mother to an amazing family.
A few days ago, I went to the emergency room because my heart rate would not come down and I was feeling very unwell. After bloodwork and several tests, thankfully, my heart rate stabilized and I started to feel a little better—but what came next was completely unexpected.
An oncologist came in to speak with me about my scans and bloodwork. I was told that I have multiple masses in my abdomen, extremely enlarged lymph nodes, and issues with part of my intestine. Based on the scans and lab results, they believe I have a form of lymphoma. I was advised very clearly not to take this lightly.
I will need many urgent tests, including a PET scan, endoscopy, biopsies of the masses, a bone marrow biopsy, and possibly more. At the time, I was overwhelmed and struggling to fully process everything. Now that I’ve had a few days to take it all in, I understand how serious this is and how important it is to act quickly.
I’m creating this GoFundMe because I need help. I cannot afford the necessary scans, tests, and procedures on my own, and right now I’m in a position where I truly need support.
Any contribution—no matter the size—will help me move forward with the testing and treatment I need so I can focus on fighting this and getting back to good health for myself and my family. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser also means more than I can express.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness, prayers, or support you can offer.
