Hey, I'm Jasmine Ballew, a creative writer and filmmaker. As 2025 kicks off, turning one of my screenplays into an actualized film is one of my greatest goals this year. Pre- production for my first film is underway and I would LOVE your help!

I'm currently collecting funds, at any size, towards my first production. Funds will go towards securing locations, feeding cast/ crew, and reimbursing travel costs for crew/cast. I respect the time and talent of everyone on set, and would love to provide them with food and travel for their services. Filming will last for 2 and a half days (April 1st - 3rd) in NJ/ NY.

My film, "Blackfishing" is a horror/ satire about race, beauty, and social media. I'm excited to bring my vision to life and could use all the help I could get.
