Support Jared and Annelise's IVF journey

Our journey to build our family began 6 years ago shortly after we got married. As married couples do, we looked at our future and decided we were ready to move forward and grow our family. After over a year of unsuccessful attempts, confusion and doubt crept in so we took the next steps and got ourselves checked out. Initially, the doctor's prognosis was that we were young and it would be fine, "it just takes some people more time," they said. But more time passed and we became concerned and started visiting fertility specialists. After closer inspection, it turned out that we had more going against us than our primary care doctors assessed. Over the past 5 years of seeking medical assistance, we have undergone multiple medical procedures, tests, and a surgery to increase our chances of conception. Sadly to say, because of our unique medical situation, we were recently told our only path forward at this point is IVF.

We are very blessed to live in an area with access to some of the best fertility clinics in the country, however, the cost of treatment is, for lack of a better phrase, excessively high. We deeply want children, we even talked about it on our first date and it pains us to be where we are today. Before our journey began, we both knew at a very young age we wanted to be a Mom and a Dad and love someone like no other. But we are hopeful that we can get through this process and are holding on to one another with love and compassion.
