Support Jack's Journey to a Healthier Future

Help us fight along with our favorite little superhero as he battles Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome.

Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome, or WAS, is a rare genetic immunodeficiency that affects Jack’s healthy blood platelets for clotting.

Jack has already made many frequent trips to the ER due to uncontrollable blood loss from something as basic as a nose bleed. Due to his complications, Jack’s 5 year old body is prone to infection, bruising and bleeding more easily, as well as fatigue. He can get tired more quickly than boys his age, but he always has a mischievous smile on his face despite the pain he is in.

Jack-Jack’s parents are heroes as well, as they themselves, along with his sidekick sister Lani in tow, battle his nemesis through every doctor’s appointment and medical emergency.

Jack will soon be entering the Phoenix Children’s Hospital to fight his ultimate fight. While there, he will be receiving a bone marrow transplant from another superhero, his amazing anonymous donor. This donor will be giving Jack their superpowers for a healthier future. As a family we are so grateful to this donor, you truly are saving a life.

Jack will have a long road to recovery, a planned bone marrow transplant will keep Jack out of training and in the hospital for three months. Because of this extended stay Jack’s parents are going to need any extra help they can get for all the upcoming medical expenses. We know Jack’s super human strength will help get him through this battle so he can start Kindergarten later this year.
