The Hope Foundation is a registered charity working with street and slum children in Kolkata, India. They work to free children and poor families from lives of pain, abuse, poverty and darkness. The HOPE Hospital, established in May 2008, caters to the secondary healthcare needs of street and slum dwelling children and adults.

To help combat the hospital bed crisis in Kolkata HOPE Hospital is now running 3 COVID wards with 53 beds and a diagnostic room for testing. They have also opened a 15 bed Satellite Health Facility for patients who do not require critical care. Significant funds are required to operate these wards.

In addition, due to the partial lockdown, daily laborers, migrant workers, and their families are running out of food. Hope foundation provides supports by distributing day to day supplies.
