Haylees Trip to Florida: Music & Acting

Hello everyone,

My name is Haylee Cameron and I live in Toowoomba, QLD. I am studying a Bachelor of Creative Arts at the University of Southern Queensland and I have been offered the opportunity of a lifetime. ARTS is a U.S based organisation that scout for talent to attent a showcase held in Orlando, Florida in December 2014, which assists in the international careers of musicians, actors, models and dancers. The talent in the showcase perform in front of a board of 80 directors, casting scouts, producers and representatives from A Lister American companies such as Broadway, Disney, Sony Records & Capital Records and more, who attend with intentions to employ. I am one of the few selected to represent Australia and take part in this showcase out of the several thousand that auditioned. I have been approved for both singing and acting.

An opportunity like this is what i have been working for my entire life. Since i was a child i have been performing and have worked hard as a musician so that i can earn a living doing something that i love, everyday. It is so rare that people have the chance to fulfill their biggest and wildest dreams and i am a step closer with this opportunity.This trip can determine the rest of my life in the performing arts industry and provide me with a wonderful experience which may either kickstart or rocket my carrer in the performing arts industry.
