Grumpy Magazine is an independent publication available worldwide in digital and print-on-demand which has been self-publishing and entirely self-funded from Paris since August 2016. Born in France, it has become a global publication that is produced in English. With a creative activity operated in Europe and America, we seek to share inspiring stories as well as a genuine vision of life through unique features with artists and outstanding figures from the worlds of arts, to get you out of your grumpy mood.
Past cover stars and guests include: Candice Patton (THE FLASH), Charlie Weber (HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER), Laura and Vanessa Marano, Ross and Rocky Lynch of The Driver Era, Gavin Leatherwood (CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA), Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan and Tasya Teles (THE 100), Danielle Rose Russell (LEGACIES), Emeraude Toubia and Katherine McNamara (SHADOWHUNTERS) and more.
We are looking for external support to help us pursue our mission to cultivate art and promote artists, work on our next edition and keep producing content that brings positivity into life during this challenging time for all of us. Until now, the project has been funded and curated by its founder and editor-in-chief, Jasmine Perrier, a 21-year-old entrepreneur who started her publication after graduating from high school when she was 18 and kept developing it while balancing her studies and career as a freelancer. Being that we still pursue it as a passion project with the invaluable help of our voluntary and passionate contributors, we don't have any kind of financial support to help the magazine or rely on advertising at the moment, and we hope, thanks to your collaboration, to provide support to small businesses, freelancers and artists who are affected by everything going on and create the opportunities they deserve to showcase their craft.
