Hi, my name is Kellie Kerrigan, Gabe Capoferri's sister-in-law.

Gabe - better known to me as GR was introduced into my life when I was only 18 years old and has been a stable and reliable person in my life for the last 13 years. Gabe, my sister Katie and their kids, my niece and nephew mean the world to me and I am truly lucky to call them family. Watching them struggle the last few weeks as they face illness and hard times ahead has been incredibly difficult.

About a month ago, Gabe walked into an urgent care, and after a blip on the EKG he was referred to the emergency room and after some further testing and doctor's appointments, he was diagnosed with Adrenal Cancer. The good news is that the doctors are hopeful that they will have success in the operation on January 9th where they will be able to remove the mass and adrenal gland and he will begin his journey towards recovery.

Gabe will be recovering for 4-6 weeks and the emotional and financial strain it will take on him, my sister and their two young kids is significant. I created this GoFundMe in hopes of easing some of the difficulties they are facing, so they can spend their energy on healing, supporting, and looking ahead to the future.
