Support for the Osuji Family

Recently, Michael Osuji was sadly taken away from his wife, Jocelyn (most of you know her as Juts) and one year old daughter, Thea, and detained by immigration services due to unresolved visa issues. Michael has a lawyer who is diligently working to help his issue, but there is a strong likelihood that he will be deported, despite his many contributions to the community. There aren't many people in Charleston who don't know Juts or Michael. Whether it be from the University of Charleston, their weekly church visits, strong involvement in the soccer community, his tutoring in academics, everyone has always loved seeing their wide smiles and upbeat personalities.  Michael has always worked hard to provide for his wife and daughter, as well as his family in Nigeria.  He was anticipated to start in the Physician's Assistant program at the University of Charleston in January 2018.

Without Michael, Juts has been left to be the sole provider for their daughter.  She has abruptly lost half of her household income.  I ask that we come together as a community to help support the Osujis in one of the only ways we are able, to help relieve some stress from Juts from lawyer costs, as well as maintaining their household and proper care for their daughter.  Any donations at all would be grately appreciated.
