Koleka Kalama Family Memorial Fund

Koleka, known to many as Kiki, a young mother of 5, born and raised in San Jose, Ca had been struggling with her health and recently suffered  an unexpected stroke.  Just two short months later, Kiki’s beautiful generous life ended abruptly due to a massive brain hemorrhage causing irreversible damage.  Her Family bravely stood strong by her side as she left this life and transcended into heaven while being  guided by her Angels.  Kiki is survived by her loving Mother Marilyn Banchero and her five beautiful kind spirited Children, Jada (25), Gage (23), Gavin (17), Hanalei (11) and sweet little Makaio (7).  

This grave loss impacts the family’s primary source of income needed for the Cremation and memorial services and every day  life’s everyday needs of groceries, consumable household & personal hygiene products, back to school clothes & academic supplies and all[a] the other things we take for granted in our everyday modest lives as the family grieves.  The family has a plan but Death Certificates are not produced overnight nor are social services put in place immediately.   The family is struggling with this economic hardship in their time of grief and need relief to begin the healing process of this unexpected traumatic life changing experience.
