Help Win Rozario’s family move from home he was murdered in

Tax deductible
On March 27th, 19-year-old Win Rozario – the son of hardworking Bangladeshi immigrants - was killed by the NYPD after calling 911 in emotional distress. Instead of offering care, NYPD officers entered Win’s home and shot him in a matter of seconds in front of his mother and younger brother. Win’s family is suffering the double trauma of having to continue to live in the home that they witnessed Win’s avoidable and horrific murder in.

There is a long road ahead of Win’s family as they seek answers and accountability for Win’s death. In the most immediate, however, Win’s family needs your support to move so that they do not have to relive his senseless murder every time they eat breakfast or get a glass of water.

We’re thankful that a generous donor already covered most of the funeral expenses, but there are still outstanding costs from his wake and gravesite. That’s why we are reaching out to our communities and allies now, with this urgent request.

We are seeking to raise $18,000 to cover the costs of moving, plus down payment on a new apartment, two months rent, and an additional $3k to cover the remaining wake and burial expenses.

Can you help? Please give whatever you can to support Win’s family! Any amount is welcomed.

All funds raised minus the Go Fund Me fees will go directly to Win’s family.
