Support for the Barbers

Ajay Barber Jr needs all of the love, support and prayers he can get right now. Please share and help support this little man and his family

 

November 6th Ajay Jr was at a team baseball party and fell from a substantial height onto concrete. CPR was performed on scene by his parents Amber and Ajay before he was flown to Children’s Hospital. Upon arrival it was determined he had a large hematoma to the right temporal lobe of his brain and a fractured temporal bone. He has undergone an emergency craniotomy to relieve pressure and drains have been placed. Over night Jr had some moments of being responsive to things that were going on, moving his arms and legs and clenching his fists. He still hasn’t woken up but has responded to pain stimuli and suction almost every time. The latest update on Jr explains a follow up CT was done this morning that showed the right side temporal hematoma gone and some residual blood which is to be expected. The micro bleeds on left side of the brain are more apparent now but neuro seems to think his body will absorb it. They saw a hyper-density in the right transverse sinus so they are worried about a blood clot in there. They found a broken clavicle on the right side. Found a bone cleft on the right side of c2-c3 that they don’t think is going to be an issue or a worry to the spinal cord. Please continue to pray for our little guy. He needs lots of prayers

 

Anyone who knows this little boy knows he is the silliest, spunkiest, determined, kind hearted soul and he will come out strong on the other side of this nightmare. Right now he and his family need lots of love and support.
