Support for Tatevik

Tatevik has had a spine curvature (scoliosis) since she was very young. She had an unsuccessful surgery earlier, and now, at the age of 25, her pains have increased to a point that makes it impossible for her to work or even sit for a two-hour stretch of time or sustain a normal way of life in any sense. We are raising money to help her pay for surgery to treat this condition that doctors now deem correctable. The surgery is scheduled for Fall 2019.

Tatevik is an incredibly lively and upbeat person. Her courage, incredible resilience, optimistic disposition, and love for everyone and everything around her have been an inspiration to all who know her. Despite her condition and doctors recommendations to forgo school, she finished high school with excellence, received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in Armenia. Sadly, she had to quit her job just a few months into it due to her worsened condition. Now she needs help to get her life back and have a chance to be the beautiful person she is.

The entire treatment – the surgery itself and the post-surgery treatment, is approximately 20,000 euros. The first unsuccessful surgery drained the family resources, so anything you can donate, however small, will go a long way.
