Support for Socra Tea & Our Staff

As all of us know, this epidemic has hit Detroit's restaurant industry hard.  Socratea has been no exception, through these trying times our tearistas are struggling. 

We are unable to stay open during this epidemic leaving our team unsure when they can return to our beloved tea shop to serve, package, and recommend our unique organic teas. Though we'd love to be there, we highly value the safety of our patrons and the people in our city.  

 All of our tearistas have been with us for a year or more, relying on Socratea to be a valued source of income. We employee students and artists who rely on this teahouse to make their aspirations & dreams become reality. We ask that if you are able to donate, even a small amount, the friendly faces you see every visit would greatly appreciate it.
