Support for Skyler Diaz

Donation protected
Our Skyler was the victim of a hit and run last night in Grand Junction. We’re asking for prayers and donations from friends and family as he has a very long road to recovery. Doctors at St. Mary’s hospital were able to reconstruct his pelvis and reattach it to his spine, however, he has multiple surgeries to endure without insurance. Thank you.

Here is the police posting:
On 11/30/2022 at approximately 7:10 pm, officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a hit and run in the area of HWY 50 and Linden Ave. The reporting party stated a bicyclist was hit by a light-colored sedan and the sedan left the scene. The bicyclist, a 28-year-old male, was transported to the hospital with serious bodily injuries. The driver of the vehicle has not been identified yet. This case is under investigation.

The Grand Junction Police Department is requesting anyone with information about this incident to contact non-emergency dispatch at [phone redacted].
