Support for Shelley

Hello everyone,

On Thursday, May 20th, 2021 our Mother, Shelley was diagnosed with Breast cancer. Her last day of work was the end of May 2021 and until she's recovered from her surgery, she is unable to work to make money. Everything received here will be going to our mom, Shelley to help pay for rent, bills, etc.

"Cancer, it is affecting so many of us way too much. I have lost one friend already this year and another is terminal. I seemed to have won my own battle with breast cancer, seven years and counting.! Woot woot! My friend Shelley, she lost both sisters to cancer last year and now has her own battle to fight. On Monday, July 26th she underwent a double mastectomy, test results will be a while but we have our fingers and toes crossed, all will be clear, the cancerous tissue removed with some considerable margins (after, all they took both breasts off completely)!

Shelley is one of those people who do good in the world. Her life has been dedicated to working with children with disabilities, crap wages but it does fill your heart to make a difference to a child with special needs. We are hopeful all her surgical and medical needs will be covered by OHIP but there are rent and bills to pay, and mouths to feed. One particular nippy dog Shelley rescued and rehabilitated needs his munchies too. Shelley unfortunately is not getting any wages right now, and needs some support to make it through her three months recovery period, when we hope she will be back to her usual perky (no pun intended) self, has kicked cancer’s ass and supporting those kids with their own high needs.

Please help us, help Shelley. What goes around comes around, and now its Shelley’s turn for some TLC and financial support. Here’s hoping Shelley’s good Karma and your good heart helps beats cancer and fend off the financial distress she is facing. Thank you."
