Support for ShaVunda
Donation protected
Our dear friend ShaVunda Brown was in a car accident last Thursday, Sept 20th. She was 8 months pregnant at the time and traveling with her son, Xavier. The baby and Xavier are doing well. She is expecting to deliver a healthy baby girl this Fall!
ShaVunda has been through emergency surgery because of an injury to her eye and is going to specialists to determine if additional treatment or surgeries are needed to improve chances of regaining full vision.
With a new baby on the way in the coming weeks it is easy to understand why the Brown family needs our support. The loss of their vehicle, bills and all of the costs of a brand new baby will add up quickly. We all know how hard ShaVunda works to spread her light and bring healing to our community. She has been a rock for us, so lets show up for her now!
Please consider donating any amount! The cold season is on its way, so lets keep the Browns and their little ones warm with our love.
Peace & Light!
Update from ShaVunda 9.29.18:
I have cried ALOT! ! Tears of pain, sadness and sorrow and tears of Joy and Hope. I feel so surrounded by my community and for that I am immensely Thankful!! Thankful for all the Calls, Visits, Comments, Donations, Meals, Babysitting, Prayers, Friends Organizing it all, And for the Creator and Ancestors making sure that I survived to continue telling my story. This healing process has not been easy my overall health is improving but my left eye and it's vision will take a uncertain amount of time to recover. I try my best to maintain a positive attitude and seeing that I'm supported by so many keeps me uplifted. So Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to everyone who has sent a positive vibe in my direction because it's all felt and Greatly Appreciated.
