Support for Ridgeview Pl Danbrook One Residents

My name is Lisa Foxall from Our Langford and on behalf of Ridgeview Place / Danbrook One Residents we have started this Go Fund Me to help support them .

Please help support the residents that have been displaced and have no accommodations. Your donations will be divided up between all residents to help towards their immediate costs of permanent or temporary accommodation, travel food , and out of pocket expenses.

On April 24, 2023, the City of Langford revoked the occupancy permit for a rental building located at 2770 Claude Road (RidgeView Place, previously known at Danbrook One) owned by Centurion Apartment Properties Inc. (Centurion) due to ongoing life safety concerns related to the structural design and performance of the building.

The residents stated they have all been asked to leave immediately and were given $1000 the day after and a notice the day of with contact info for hotels and management . Rent returned from April 24-30 and damage/pet deposits that have yet to be returned .

These displaced residents need our help . Please consider helping them .

May 17 - As per Go Fund Me Requested Info . I Lisa Foxall and Our Langford Facebook group did not know the tenants of Ridgeview Place . We wanted to help raise money for them as they were displaced . We have confirmed 88 units were occupied in the building and want to divide this money between the 88 units . We are making all efforts to reach all 88 units. I’m currently awaiting the Royal Bank’s direction on how to disperse the funds. I had a telephone meeting with them on Monday May 15 and requested if they can waive any cheque funds or business account costs. The advisor is currently asking her manager and I’m waiting back to hear.
