Support for Owen Matthews #owentough

Owen Matthews, a 4th grader from Lyon County, Kentucky was
recently diagnosed with a malignant rhabdomyocarcinoma tumor in his pelvic area.  As of today (9/24/19) he is still undergoing tests to
determine the plan of action for treatment.  He and his family will be in
the hospital for the foreseeable future.  This gofundme was set up to
help his family with any expenses that come up in the near future.

Owen is described by his classmates as one of the funniest kids in his
class.  He is also one of the toughest.  Owen just last week competed in 
the Warrior Challenge with his dad, Chase Matthews who is a U.S.
Army veteran. 

Owen definitely has the support of all his classmates at Lyon County 
and the entire community is praying.  Hopefully with these donations in the next few weeks we can all show that we are supporting his family
as well.

Ms. Vickie Gilland posted this on facebook and I just wanted to pass it
along. "To live by Faith in God is the only way to get through a cancer
diagnosis. It brings peace that passes all understanding and comfort
that can only comes with a relationship with the Great Physican who
can do mighty things. Owen has many prayer warriors praying for him."
