Robin has breast cancer, but it doesn't have her!

This quote beautifully describes Robin…or rather words that Robin has spoken to everyone she loves at one time or another. To have a friend or family member like her is to know that someone always has your back. Robin is the kind of person that reminds you, you can do anything. When you need help, she races to the head of the line, pumped with energy and enthusiastically asking, “Where/when do we start?” She projects this infectious can-do attitude, often jumping off that proverbial cliff, believing there will always be a net to catch her. She reminds us that anything is possible and is the first one to cheer us on, singing our praises, or solemnly holding our hands during sad times, crying softly with us.
We all have stories about Robin thoughtfully helping us in one way or another. Stories like the time she helped raise more than $120,000 in merchandise and services for a silent auction event to help children with cancer. She walked miles, going from business to business in South Tampa, begging for donations. She and her band, Crystal Blue, also donated their time to perform at that same event, as well as many others throughout the years.
ROBIN NOW NEEDS OUR HELP fighting off the boogie man she didn’t see coming. She was diagnosed recently with aggressive breast cancer called, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She’s already had surgery to remove the tumor and will begin chemo treatments followed by radiation soon. She needs our ongoing encouragement and emotional support, but right now, most importantly she needs our help covering certain medical or hardship expenses. We are specifically raising funds to help cover costs that insurance won’t, such as expensive “cold caps” that can be added to chemotherapy treatments to help ward off nasty side-effects.
