If you know Anthony you most likely can’t help but love him. Whether you’ve known him for years or for just a short time, I’m sure he’s made you smile and laugh more times than you can count. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that Anthony’s larger than life personality has impacted our lives for the better in one way or another. Now it’s time for us all to send some positivity back his way for him and his family.
As most of you know, Anthony was involved in a devastating accident January 24 and is suffering from multiple skull fractures including a basilar fracture. He has been in the PICU and were hopeful that soon he will be transferred down a level of care to begin rehabilitation. While we are happy to hear he is moving in a positive direction, we also know he has a very long and challenging road ahead of him.
His mother Elizabeth, his auntie coco and his two baby sisters Lily and Raelynne were also in the car at the time of the accident. His baby sister Raelynne was not hurt at all. His little sister lily did suffer from a small skull fracture behind the forehead but is expected to heal within 2 weeks. His mother has 4 broken ribs, bruised lungs, broken toe and a hematoma located on the knee.
His mother Elizabeth is the strongest mother I know and is doing everything she can to be strong for her children. However she needs to be there for ant, her two girls and herself and will not be able to work for a while. As we all know bills don’t stop and while she is still in pain she still has two other children to take care of while her son is in recovery.
The car accident happened in South Carolina which is far away from their home in Connecticut. Many of you have asked how you can help. The best way that we can help right now is to help alleviate the financial stress that is has but on his mother and the rest of his family.
