Support for Noah and Family

Thank you to those who have reached out to our family with offers of prayer and support for Noah and his family. We have put together a donation page so that together we can help lighten the financial load of this most recent family crisis.
As many of you know, Noah has been at Lurie Children’s hospital since the beginning of September. Noah is my 6 year old nephew who received a heart transplant when he was only 10 weeks old. When Noah got pneumonia, his body attacked his muscles and nerves because they were inflamed, and he lost function in his left arm, legs and neck. He was most recently diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome and a form of lung disease.
Unfortunately, there is no treatment to recover his left side, so they will need to work on getting it stronger. His legs are now stable but he can’t stand or turn his head. He is currently needing help to breathe and eat so they have intubated him and put him on a feeding tube. He’s still at a lull, not getting worse and not getting any better. The recovery is long, they are saying as long as month/s in the hospital and another year of rehab.
Noah is at the best Children’s Hospital in Illinois, but it’s also 1hr 45min away from their home in Sycamore where Noah also has 2 older brothers. Mom and Dad have been taking turns missing work to be sure that Noah has a parent right by his side at all times.
We can’t relieve the emotional strain on the family, but perhaps we can relieve some of the financial pressure. Please consider support so David & Jenny can continue to travel and financially provide for the family's needs during this time. Thank you!
