Support for Ms. Amanda

Please consider donating to support Amanda Miller during medical leave. She may be out for several months due to the need to undergo and recover from brain surgery. Funds raised will go towards medical expenses, transportation to appointments, and general bills (rent, phone, utilities, food) during her time away from work.

Ms Amanda, as she is known to our children at the Frazer Center in Atlanta, has been a warm, caring, and supportive teacher to our children for several years. In addition to the humor that she brings to the classroom (and parents!), Ms. Amanda's artistic sense and creativity has resulted in countless fun projects. She has been a source of stability in the lives of our children for many years as they have has moved into new classrooms and she has moved right along with them.  Understanding their trepidation in new surroundings and with new adults, she has supported their growth by generously giving out hugs while urging them to gain independence and confidence with their new teachers, peers, and space.

We hope to support Ms. Amanda through this challenging time, as she has supported our families, and hope that others are able to as well. Please feel free to share this page widely so that Ms. Amanda can focus her energy on recovering and have some peace of mind that some of her expenses will be taken care of.
