Support for Lindsey and Family - Breast Cancer

Hello! We, the family and friends of Lindsey Davis have set up this GoFundMe page to help lessen some of the financial burdens for Lindsey and her family.

 

For those who do not know Lindsey, she is an amazing mother, wife, daughter,sister and friend. She is very thoughtful and is always one of the first people to offer help. She loves to bake, cook, and create special projects for her family and others.

Lindsey has a gift for making everyone feel loved, special and cared for.

 

The past year with the covid pandemic has been challenging and emotional for everyone.

For Lindsey it has been an overwhelming one.

In May, Lindsey found a lump in her right breast, which was 3cm in size. She went for a mammogram shortly after and was told to go for a biopsy. She already had a feeling that she would be getting news she wasn’t ready to accept.

On June 8, she was officially diagnosed with breast cancer. Lindsey was scared and devastated. Thoughts and fears occupied her mind on how her and her husband Brad will get through this and how to explain it to their two young daughters what was going on.

 

However, she quickly changed her mindset. That fear turned into a quest to fight! She changed her diet and became more active. She is putting herself as a priority so she can be there for her family.

 

Lindsey had her mastectomy on July 28 and started her first chemotherapy treatment on September 3. She continues to go for her treatments and is on medications related to her treatment that are not covered.

 

They appreciate all the love and support that family and friends have offered. Lindsey and Brad are not the types to ask for help but with only Brad working and with Lindsey not being able to work indefinitely it has put a strain on them financially.

 

 

We hope that helping them in this way , they can focus on Lindsey recovering and healing and lessen their worries.
