Support for Jayvian and Tatiana

Donation protected
About a week ago, our cousin Tatiana, noticed that her son Jayvian was not acting like himself. With Jayvian not even being a year old, she assumed he was simply teething. Jayvian continued to show signs of discomfort and it wasn’t until a few days ago where this minor concern took a serious turn. Jayvian woke up the other morning with a fever and with blood spots all over his body. He was immediately rushed to our local hospital. From there he was rushed over to Advent Health Hospital for further testing. Today, December 3, 2020, only 2 days from his 1st birthday, Jayvian was diagnosed with Leukemia.

As anyone could imagine, this news has taken us all by surprise. It’s difficult to put to words all the emotions Tatiana and the rest of the family are dealing with. Not only is Tatiana dealing with the reality of her baby being diagnosed with cancer, but at the same time she is juggling all sorts of other hardships that will be amplified by this new reality. She is a single mother of 4 with limited financial means. Her current housing situation is troublesome as well, with her apartment not only being an hour and a half away from Advent Health Hospital, but also having issues with mold. Getting transportation is also an issue for her as well among other hardships.

As a family we are doing our best to offer a hand in light of this heartbreaking news. We set up this GoFundMe to support Tatiana on this road ahead with her son Jayvian. This is the first time in our family where we had a situation like this come up so we are unsure what to expect. All we know is Tatiana needs our support to aid her in the following areas:

-All associated medical expenses

-Safe Housing closer to Advent Health

-Utility expenses

-Food

-Transportation funds

At the moment, we set a goal of $50,000. This is based on research we have done concerning potential expenses in situations like these. We will keep everyone up to date on how Jayvian is doing. We want to express our gratitude to all who have reached out, donated, and are praying for Jayvian.

Thank you for taking time out of your day for reading this.

We are with you Tatiana.
