Jacqueline & Patrick Myers - Car Accident

As many of you may have heard already, Sunday (7/14) at 10am, Jacqueline and Patrick Myers were involved in a hit and run car collision on A-7 highway outside of Valencia. Jacquie is currently in a coma and in critical condition and Patrick is stable but hospitalized with head trauma. They are far away from home, family and friends. Our goal and challenge is to have our mother come out of her coma with one of her children present. Our ultimate hope would be to have the funds to help facilitate to get her an air ambulance home to be surrounded by family. Mom selflessly has been there for everyone and we need to be there if/when she awakes. We love them both immensely. Anyone who knows them knows they've always put friends and family first, NO MATTER WHAT.
Jacquie was left with blunt-force trauma to the head, fractured ankles, fractured lumbar vertebrae, a punctured lung, and extensive internal bleeding. She has survived surgery to stop internal bleeding, and is in an induced coma.
Patrick sustained blunt-force trauma to the head, has bruising on the brain, and several soft-tissue injuries. He is still in the hospital but not in critical care.
The at-fault driver fled the scene but was later apprehended and we are told they are currently in police custody.
