DC Officer injured in the line duty

An Officer who works for a department in Washington, DC.  was injured in the line of duty On Wednesday, May 13, 2020, At approximately 10:25 PM. The officer involved was involved in a foot pursuit of a suspect when he was struck by a Metro Bus. The Officer sustained a serious head injury, but his outcome is hopeful. 

His prognosis appears to be good, but his road to recovery is going to be very long. The goal of this fundraiser is to not only support the injured officer, but also his spouse. Chances are, she is going to be out of work for an extended period of time to care for her husband. This means the family will be down one full salary. Cost of living is high, and  everyday bills and with three children, it will be impossible to survive off one salary. This fundraiser will not only be supporting the injured officer, but also help with the large financial gap that the family is about to encounter.

This officer is more than just an officer, he is family. Please help support this Officer and his family. Not only am I a former Officer of this Police Department, but the injured officer was my partner and I am asking for your help.
