Help for 6 yo Hana with Leukaemia

Hello, my name is Ian and I am Grandfather to 6 year old Hana who has been diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) while in Japan. Hana's parents Cameron and Yoko along with her Brother Kai (5) travelled to Tokyo 18 months ago to experience life in Japan. Yoko is Japanese and this was to be an experience of a life time for the family. The news that Hana has Leukemia has devastated this young family and their extended family here in Australia. Both Cameron and Yoko have had to stop work to be by Hana's side and to look after her brother Kai. Hana is 3 weeks into her treatment and is expected to remain in Hospital for 3 months with follow up treatment after that. Yoko stays in hospital with Hana 24 hours a day and Cameron visits daily while looking after Kai. My wife and I are just beside ourselves with worry for Hana and her family. Travelling back to Australia is impossible and my application for permission to travel to Japan has been denied.
