Support for Greg White’s Cancer Treatment

Our wonderful friend Greg White is fighting the biggest battle of his life.
He started having some confusion in mid Oct. and we hoped it was a mini stroke however they soon got the diagnoses of Melanoma with metastasis. The involvement is extreme. It includes his brain, lungs, liver, spleen, adrenal glands, stomach lining, lymph nodes, and spine/bones. This caused a whirlwind of travel, Dr. visits, scans, and testing. Not to mention the fear and emotion that has followed. In addition to those fears came the fear of “how will we pay our bills and travel for treatments”? With Greg being the main financial support for the family, they have lost most of their income. Greg’s symptoms came on suddenly and they were extreme. He was not able to continue driving and therefore unable to work. They both have so much pride and chose to not ask for assistance although they knew they could not survive without his income for very long as is the case with most of us.
They found out yesterday what this battle will entail. They will have to spend M-F in STL for the next 2 weeks for full head radiation then start immunotherapy. The Oncologist has explained that it will not be an easy road for either of them as he will get very sick. I’m praying that as lifelong members of our community, close friends, family, friends of friends and family, and total strangers that are willing to help....that we can ease their burden. Since Siteman is 3 hrs from their home they will require frequent hotel stays as well as travel. The financial burden will be a lot. Please, no donation is too small or too great. Please help where you can and give him more time with his wife, children and grandchildren. If financial support is not an option for you, please remember them in prayer. Thank you so much
