Mrs. Arpita Sharma passed away on 02/04/2018 at the age of 24 in Houston. She is survived by her husband and a son. She was from Mahottari district of Nepal. At this moment, we are preparing for her funeral and we need your financial support. I sincerely request all Nepali residing in Houston and beyond to come forward and help the Sharma Family.
Late Arpita was 5 months into her pregnancy. Following severe headache, she was immediately taken to Herman Memorial hospital in Katy. Her condition was deteriorated so rapidly that doctors at Katy referred her to Herman Memorial downtown. Upon arrival, she was struck by a brain hemorrhage. Further bloodwork revealed for the first time that she was suffering from leukemia.
Doctors performed emergency C-section to save the baby but mom slipped into a coma and never returned from there. The newly born baby girl was in incubator for two days and died a day after her mom passed away.
Her Husband Dhananjay and other family members were at her side at the time of her demise.
