Support for Fatal Highway 401 Crash Victim Family

Donation protected
On December 30th, 2022 around 5am, a hardworking, innocent man was driving to work like any normal day. An impaired driver entered the 401 traveling the wrong way and crashed his car head-on, killing him at the scene.

This man was a loving husband, a loving father to three children, and a well-respected person in the community. This was an accident that did not need to happen and has deeply affected this Whitby family.

Around 10 am, two police officers showed up at the family's door and broke the news to the family while they were preparing a new year’s meal with friends.

His daughter was awarded the highest academic average in her graduating class and is currently studying in one of the most competitive undergraduate programs in Canada, Waterloo Software Engineering. Having gone to school with her since grade 6, I can personally vouch that she has the most potential for success out of everyone I have met. One of his sons is also studying computer science at Western University. Since their father was the only income earner in the family, tuition is expensive for two children.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help with the following:
  • Funeral Costs
  • Litigation Fees for Impaired Driving
  • University Tuition for his two children
  • Immediate/Short-term expenses
  • Therapy for wife and three children

More information on the accident can be found here:

The family has asked to conceal names in order to protect privacy during this difficult time.

Any amount is incredibly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

If you have any advice for the family on how to navigate this situation or don't feel comfortable via Gofundme and would like to know an e-transfer address, please contact the organizer through Facebook messenger.
