Support for Erin and Adam's IVF Journey

I'm writing on behalf of my sister Erin and her husband Adam. Erin and Adam met while they were both stationed together at Macdill AFB in Tampa, FL. Their beautiful romance blossomed into an even more beautiful marriage. Since they were married in May 2013, they have been trying to start a family which proved to be a difficult endeavor. Between moving duty stations from Florida to Washington and several deployments, time was never on their side. What little time they have had together (when both are not deployed) has been put into various treatments. Like most couples, they tried for kids right away but had no luck with “old fashioned” methods. Erin was diagnosed with Severe Diminished Ovarian Reserve and Unexplained infertility shortly after Adam had left for a year tour overseas. Their fertility issues have been confirmed by 3 other Fertility Clinics over the last several years. They have tried two unsuccessful “timed conception” treatments (military covered), 3 IUI’s (military covered) and 1 failed IVF @ Military Facility ($8500). We are asking for $36,000 to help her with the next step in the fertility process. Their most recent testing gave a less than 5% chance of success if they attempted another IVF cycle so their new goal is to utilize Donor eggs for the most favorable outcome. While the military will help cover a few of the medications and lab screenings, the proposed Egg donor program summary is roughly $36,000. This includes the clinic balances for both the selected donor and Erin, the revised IVF cycle and egg handling, processing, and storage. This particular plan will purchase 6 Eggs and guarantee them a live birth or up to 6 donor cycles. My sister is such a strong and incredible person and I follow her by example. I want to do whatever I can to give back to her and help her through this difficult time just as she consistently helps others.
