Emir Moore, just 23 years young, was taken from us far too soon. Around 1:30am, his life ended suddenly and tragically, leaving behind a devoted and loving mother, father, two brothers, a sister, his baby niece, and many friends and relatives. Emir was a victim of gun violence—an unforeseen and unjustifiable act in downtown Wilmington. He was known for his sweet spirit and gentle, quiet nature. Emir was not a violent person; he loved his family deeply and brought warmth to everyone around him. His life was taken for no reason, and the pain of his absence is felt by all who knew him.
