Support for Doula Training

So happy to announce that I’ve officially completed my first month of Doula training!!!!

Asking for donations for materials and to complete payment of the course.

I’ve been wanting to become a birth worker for some time now, but I’ve always convinced myself I wasn’t ready or talked myself out of it. But now the time has come. It is not only something I feel called to do, but something I am truly passionate about. Especially in this climate, as we continue to mourn the deaths of black bodies, I want to assist in bringing black bodies back into this realm. Birth is a continuum, and there is
still so much work here that needs to be done.

There is a stigma surrounding childbirth in this country, but there is no greater gift than the miracle of being born. No greater act than to rise to the call of parent or guardian. I cannot wait to serve, and hopefully work with some of you in the very near future.  <3
