Support for Dmytro's Funeral

My brother, Dmytro Godovanyk passed away on December 26, 2022, at the young age of 46 due to medical complications in the hospital, which shocked his friends and family. Dmytro was a bright star to everyone he met, and was kind, outgoing, and eccentric. His large heart led him to care for the people who needed him, whether they were strangers or friends. His wife, Yana, continues to receive phone calls from strangers in Ukraine, thanking him for all the help he provided them during the first conflict in 2014. He was a war veteran, serving in the UN peacekeeping forces in the Bosnian War.

Due to the nature of his work in America, he did not have life or health insurance, so his family is doing their best to cover the costs of his passing. We are a small family from Ukraine, so raising funds amongst ourselves is very difficult.

Yana took great care of Dmytro during his final days when he was suffering the most. She is, unfortunately, making ends meet on her own.
