Support For David's Recovery

Noelle, David, and their 4-year old son live in Galveston, TX. David is an ER Technician and Noelle just completed her first semester of school to be a doctor of chiropratic medicine. On December 20, David was in his Jiu Jitsu class, which he has regularly attended for 3 years, when a maneuver took a terrible turn and David landed squarely on top of his head with all his weight. The impact of the fall cracked two vertebrae and completely ejected the tissue that pads the two vertebrae. He had emergency surgery where they removed the cracked piece of his spine and inserted a metal plate that fused the two vertebrae together. David is back home and recovering, but his road to full recovery is unclear. He is in intense pain, largely because the nerves at the point of injury were pinched and remained that way for 8 hours. They know he will have to go through physical therapy and they don't know when he will be able to work again. Since Noelle is in school, she does not have steady work either.
