Support for Dave Palmer & Family

Everyone whose son has been coached by Dave Palmer knows that Dave gives his heart and soul to every child who passes through his Vipers programs.  What many people do not know is that, while supporting our kids and building the Vipers program, Dave has also been a dedicated son and caregiver to his mother and father.  Dave’s father, who Dave describes as his hero, recently passed away after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease.  With Dave’s steadfast care and support, Dave ensured that his father and mother were able to live independently until his father’s death despite the debilitating nature of his father’s disease. 

Dave attributes his coaching philosophy and talent with children to his father.  Dave wants to honor his father’s legacy by providing him a proper burial and funeral service, the expense of which is causing financial stress for Dave’s family.   

Dave has taught all of our sons that the Vipers are far more than a basketball club.  Rather, the Vipers are a family, who support each other through thick and thin.  We now have the opportunity to provide support to Dave’s family just as he has supported our families time and again over the years.  Thank you for any assistance that you are able to provide to Dave’s family during this challenging time.
