Our dear friend Colin Samway, saver of dogs, was in a horrible motorcycle accident. This campaign is to raise money for any medical or other expenses he may have as a result.
Colin was riding his motorcycle home on 4/11/18, when he was cut off by a vehicle. Colin unfortunately was unable to avoid impact and was seriously injured. As a result of this accident he has bleeding and swelling in his brain. Currently, he needs CT Scans every 6 hours to monitor the bleeding/swelling. Without knowing what the cost of his medical will be we are working to raise money to cover any costs that may be incurred. We will continue to keep donors updated as more information is provided.
My name is Heidi Ziegler and am starting this campaign on behalf of Colins Villalobos Family. We are Colins friends and coworkers in New Orleans. We want to raise funds for his aftercare and any medical costs that may be incurred as a result of this accident. Due to the type of head injury Colin has he will need rehabilitation and assistance once he is discharged. These funds are for any of these costs and to help fund transport for his family to see and care of Colin as they are across the country. His family and sister, Courtney Bowman, will be responsible for the management of these funds.
Colin has dedicated so much of his life to helping dogs with his work with Villalobos Rescue Center over the last 10 years. He has sacrificed so much for this rescue and these dogs, now, it is our turn to take care of him.
