Support for Cheryl Hacker and Family
Many of you might not be aware that my Mom and both of my sisters all had cancer at the same time this past year.   Those of you who do know our families personally are aware that cancer has been an unfortunate and difficult part of our family’s lives since my mom, Sharon was diagnosed with breast cancer for the first time 30 years ago.  Mom has gone on to live life to the fullest since her first cancer diagnosis, although fighting and treating cancer off and on for the past 30 years has taken a significant toll on her body.  After a terminal diagnosis several months back, she decided to stop treatment and spend as much time she has left with my Dad, family and friends.   She has good days and bad days, although her trust in God is unwavering.

My sister Merry was diagnosed with Breast Cancer before last Christmas.  The cancer was caught early on by self-examination and verified by a mammogram.  Merry is currently cancer free and continues to be vigilant in her post cancer treatment and care.  Merry had been afflicted with a heavy loss when losing her husband and son to a horrific car accident many years ago.  However, Merry’s faith and trust in God is a beacon of light and strength to anyone that has been afflicted.

For my Sister Cheryl:
Dear friends and family of the Beemans, Smiths and Hackers,
Cheryl and family are so grateful for all of your love and support during this difficult time. Cheryl was hospitalized last week as she was afflicted with a tremendous amount of discomfort and pain.   After courageously fighting colon cancer for the past 4 years, the disease has progressed to where no cancer treatment options are left.   Cheryl is currently surrounded by family and receiving excellent care in St. Louis Missouri to make her as comfortable as possible before she goes home to be with Jesus.

The financial costs of Cheryl’s treatment and care have been substantial.  If you would like to share the weight of the burden it would be most deeply appreciated.  At this time any amount is helpful.

Most importantly thank you for all of your prayers, love and support for our precious and beloved Cheryl.

Thanks again, Scott & Roz Beeman
