On December 10, 2017 we relocated to St. Petersburg, FL to
give our son a better chance at life. On January 2, 2018 our little Superhero Camden Shane Besler was born with CDH (congenital diaphragmatic hernia). He had his repair surgery and was on ECMO (heart/lung bypass) for 13 days. He spent 67 days in the NICU and then returned home to WI. After a week of being home, Camden stopped breathing and was rushed to the hospital. During that time he had a few more episodes and was put on a ventilator for support. We knew we needed to get back to the place that knows Cam best and so we flew Cam by air ambulance back to FL. We will remain in FL until Cam’s doctors can figure out what is causing Cam to have these episodes. We appreciate all of the support from our friends and family!
