Support for Billy Robinson

To everyone who may not yet have heard the news, Sharon Robinson, the wife of our dear friend and lead singer Billy Robinson, passed away after being brought to the hospital at the annual Clinton Hill Street Festival that she organized on 8/4/18. Sharon and Billy were celebrating 38 years of marriage this year and were together for a total of 42 years. They met down in Jacksonville, Fl. at 16 years old at a gathering at her uncle's house and were sweethearts ever since they met. Sharon was known around her Brooklyn community as a kind, loving and very giving person. She would often help the elderly when they needed meals or clothing, and always asked "how's YOUR family and your babies doing” before you could even say the word “hello” to her.
Billy has been spending the past couple of days planning two funeral services- one in Brooklyn, and one in their hometown of Jacksonville, Fl where Sharon will be buried. As you can imagine, paying for two funerals can be overwhelming for anyone, so Billy's bandmates and I would like to help him with this burden.
We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages from friends and fans of Billy asking how to help, so this campaign has been created as a way to keep everyone up-to-date with plans, and also offer a place for messages and donations to be left. We would like to make sure we help Billy with all of the expenses that he will be incurring for the funeral, and afterward as he moves forward. All donations will transfer from Go Fund Me directly to Billy.
