Dear Friends and Family of Bev Hill,

Welcome to our fundraising page.  We have launched this effort to help Bev cover expenses resulting from her recent medical emergency.

As many of you know, Bev has suffered a serious illness which has resulted in her needing a liver transplant and kidney dialysis.  Miraculously, Bev received a liver earlier in February.  At this time, she remains in hospital, fighting hard to recover.  

We who know Bev, know she is very strong person and a fighter.  Her dedication to her colleagues and patients continued even as her own health declined over the winter.  She had to be told by concerned colleagues to seek care.  Otherwise, she had continued to work - supporting her colleagues; about whom she cares deeply, and her patients; to whom she is very commited.  We now hope to return to Bev some of the goodness she extends to all of us lucky enough to know her and to those she helps everyday.  

A catastrophe like this takes many tolls on a person.  One such toll is financial.  In this one small way, those of us who love and care about Bev can fight alongside her and help her recovery (ie travel and medical expenses).  All contributions are welcome - no gesture is too small.  We have arranged for all funds raised to be deposited with Bev's mother - Barb Hill - who will ensure they are spend where Bev most needs them.
