We are raising money on behalf of our friend, Aref, a brilliant mind and kind soul who is in a coma due to a severe brain aneurysm. After moving to the US for higher education and starting a career, his life took an unexpected turn. His unfortunate medical disaster has placed a heavy burden on his family, who are unable to access his accounts due to legal barriers. We’re fundraising to support his medical and family expenses during this challenging time. Your donation can make a difference.

After completing his degree at the Amirkabir University of Technology, Aref moved from Iran to the US, motivated by his ambition and passion for advanced education. He achieved his PhD in computer science at The University of Texas at Dallas. Aref has consistently been an outstanding scholar and professional and distinguished himself not just through his ability to grasp complex concepts easily, but also through his creativity in developing solutions. He was just starting to enjoy this new chapter when he unexpectedly, at the age of 32, faced a serious health issue.

Beyond his academic and professional achievements, Aref is known for his generosity, compassion, and humor. Aref's eagerness to help others knows no bounds, regardless of whether he knows them well. His spirit of giving and caring has touched many lives, making him a cherished friend.

Aref's dreams of reuniting with his parents after 11 years were shattered when he was hospitalized with a brain aneurysm, now fighting for his life in a coma after undergoing multiple surgeries. Currently, he relies on a ventilator for breathing. Doctors have indicated that Aref's journey toward recovery will be a long-term process, requiring patience and continuous medical care. This sudden catastrophe has left his family, friends, colleagues, and all who know him in shock and despair.

We’re rallying support to alleviate the financial burden on Aref's family by partially covering medical, legal, and living expenses in the US. Aref has always been there for others, and now, it is our turn to stand by him and his family. Every contribution, no matter the size, will bring a glimmer of hope to Aref's recovery journey and provide his family reassurance in knowing they are not alone in a foreign country.

دوست ما، عارف، با ذهنی درخشان و روحی مهربان، به دلیل آنوریسم مغزی شدید در کما است. زندگی عارف پس از اخد مدرک دکتری و آغاز کار او در ایالات متحده امریکا دچار تغییرات غیرمنتظره‌ای شده است. فاجعه پزشکی ناگواری که برای او پیش آمده، بار سنگینی بر دوش خانواده‌اش گذاشته که به دلیل موانع قانونی قادر به دسترسی به حساب‌های بانکی او نیستند. ما در حال جمع‌آوری کمک‌های مالی برای حمایت از هزینه‌های پزشکی و خانوادگی او در این دوران چالش‌برانگیز هستیم. کمک شما می‌تواند تفاوتی ایجاد کند.

عارف پس از اتمام تحصیلات کارشناسی خود در دانشگاه صنعتی امیرکبیر با انگیزه فراوان و جدیت برای ادامه تحصیل در سطوح عالی دانشگاهی و با اشتیاق برای پیشرفت علمی و خدمت بیشتر به جامعه بشری به ایالات متحده نقل مکان کرد. او موفق به کسب درجه دکتری در رشته ی علوم کامپیوتر از دانشگاه تگزاس در دالاس شد. عارف همواره یک محقق برجسته بوده و نه تنها از طریق توانایی خود در درک سریع مفاهیم پیچیده، بلکه از طریق خلاقیت خود در ارائه راه‌حل‌ها ، متمایز شده است. او در آستانه ی لذت بردن از فصل جدید زندگی خود بود که ناگهان، در سن ۳۲ سالگی، با یک مشکل جدی سلامتی مواجه شد.

فراتر از دستاوردهای علمی و حرفه‌ای، عارف به خاطر بخشندگی، مهربانی و شوخ‌طبعی‌اش شناخته می شود. میل عارف در کمک به دیگران هیچ حد و مرزی نمی‌شناسد. روحیه بخشنده و دلسوز او بر روی زندگی بسیاری تاثیر داشته و او را به یک دوست محبوب تبدیل کرده است.

رویای عارف برای دیدار مجدد با والدینش پس از ۱۱ سال با بستری شدنش به دلیل آنوریسم مغزی به واقعیت نپیوست و او اکنون پس از چندین عمل جراحی در کما بسر می برد. در حال حاضر، او برای تنفس به دستگاه تنفسی متکی است. پزشکان اشاره کرده‌اند که مسیر بهبودی عارف یک فرایند طولانی مدت خواهد بود و نیازمند صبر و مراقبت‌های پزشکی مداوم است. این فاجعه ناگهانی خانواده، دوستان، همکاران و همه کسانی که او را می‌شناسند را در شوک و ناامیدی فرو برده است.
