Support for Andrea & Shane Bellingham, WA

With the devastating loss of their mom, Julie, on December 21st following her valiant battle with multiple myeloma,  Andrea and Shane face many challenges. While we can’t take away the immense grief of their loss we can help ease the financial uncertainty as they sort through medical bills and funeral arrangements. Please donate if you are able. ♥️

From Andrea:

Yesterday we lost my mom, Julie Sumner Davis. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. In every sense, my mom was our Wonder Woman. She is the most beautiful soul. We called her our two-in-one because she was both mom and dad for us. She taught us what it meant to show courage, be kind, and be a fighter. She was known for her phenomenal work as a dyslexia advocate. She wasn’t just the world’s best mom but also was a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a teacher. She was the toughest person I’ve ever known. Her loss has left a hole for many that have loved her. She was our North Star. The way my mom battled cancer was nothing short of miraculous. She kept telling everyone “you can put me in all the pain in the world; I just want more time.” Although I only got to keep her for 25 years, there are so many wonderful memories with her that I will cherish. While living in Spokane, I always joked that I’d call my mom 3 times a day just to tell her all the silly things I saw or did. It is one of the things I will miss the most. I will miss Mom with everything I have. I know we will go on, and I believe she will be in our hearts. I can’t imagine Christmas, birthdays, and my wedding without her, but I know she would want us to carry on. Cancer is truly the worst, and I dream of a day they find a cure. Thank you to everyone who loved my mom. I know she loved you all so much too. Yesterday night after she had passed away, it started snowing here in Seattle. It was beautiful and felt like she was telling us she made it to heaven with Kyle. I don’t know the way forward without her, and I know it’s going to be messy and hard. However, it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. I will leave you with my favorite quote “At the end of our days, our lives become a summation of all those we have loved. It’s important not to waste anyone.” If you have a memory with my mom, big or small, I’d love if you would share it on here or PM me about it. Love you all. Andrea
