Support Family of Recently Passed Nick Piks

On August 11th 2020, Dana Weiss (my older sister) was given the news that Nick Piks, her fiancé and loving partner of over 5 years, had suddenly and tragically passed away. He is survived by his daughter Rosie, age 8, and his son George, age 2. They share the incomprehensible grief of a family that only recently had many years to look forward to with their father.

Dana is in her final year of nursing school, and is poised to take on her role as a single mother with as much love for her children and strength of character that I can imagine. As my sister navigates the immense challenges that accompany losing her family's primary provider, she is in immediate need of the support of our family and friends to help them overcome the financial insecurity that is compounding their loss. At present, all funds gathered by the Piks family have gone directly to cover funeral expenses. Dana and her children are in need of assistance to cover basic costs of living until she is able to get on her feet.
