EDIT - 8/7/18:

Jinu's family is truly humbled and eternally grateful for the generosity you have shown in their time of need. They thank you for every single donation, prayer, and well wish in this time of sorrow and shock.

Due to your generosity, this account will cease accepting payment within the month, so that we can best give the funds to the family.

After all of the immediate funeral and travel expenses, the remainder of the money will be released in full from GoFundMe, DIRECTLY to the family for their critical living needs and children's education fund. There is a small committee of coordinators from their church, family, and community supporting Phincy with this process who can be contacted if anyone would like more information.

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts and please continue to keep Phincy, Alov, Alona, and Alosh in your prayers. God bless you all.

On Friday night, August 3, 2018, Jinu, loving husband, father, and friend, fell into the water from a boat in Texas City, just miles from his home in Friendswood. He leaves behind his devastated family and friends.

Jinu, a welder for a construction company, was the sole provider for his wife Phincy and children Alov (7), Alona (7) and Alosh (2).  They attend St. Mary's Knanaya Catholic Church in Houston.

As his family and friends, we express gratitude to Texas City Police & Fire Department, United States Coast Guard and especially, Texas Equusearch, for helping us to recover our brother's body so that we may perform last rites.

We are requesting help from our beloved community to help bring Jinu's body home so that his parents, his siblings, including his twin brother and others can also say goodbye, and to help Phincy and children with their immediate financial needs during this unthinkable tragedy.
