Falcon Junior School has been flooded since the beginning of the year. The children and staff have shown incredible resilience in the face of the uncertainty and disruption that has been caused by them having to relocate to a whole new school for an unknown period of time.
There is, as yet, no established cause for the flooding and this means the children and staff have no idea when they may return to the premises. They are without some learning resources and have to restructure lessons and daytime routines due to sharing the site with White House Farm Primary who have generously allowed them to use their facilities. Some children find a change to routine and uncertainty extremely challenging and the staff have done an amazing job in helping them manage this.
Falcon is an important part of our community in Sprowston and we would like to give back what we can to help get the school back on its feet as quickly as possible. Even the smallest amount may go some way to a reward for the staff and children (at both schools) for the difficult time they have been going through.
