Support Emma in her fight against Lymphoma

Dear family and friends,
It’s with a heavy heart that I share a challenging chapter in our lives. Our sweet Emma is need of your support. Shortly after her 16th birthday, she was diagnosed with Stage lll Large Cell Lymphoma. This devastating news comes with grueling treatments for the next year and overwhelming short/long term side effects. Her extensive chemotherapy regimen is all inpatient, meaning she has to be in the hospital for weeks on end. Life for Emma currently consists of one to two week hospital stays for chemotherapy infusions through a port in her chest. While this diagnosis has been scary, Emma has shown what real strength and determination is. We should all be so proud of her.
The Obic family has made every sacrifice to be there for Emma thus far and will continue to do so. Sanela and Samir are both taking time away from their jobs to support and care for Emma. Her big bro Emrah is her biggest supporter, who will do absolutely anything for her.
The goal with this fundraiser is to ease the burden of medical bills, life expenses and anything that Emma and her family may need to feel comfort in this challenging chapter of their lives.
