India being a land of billions of people, sadly there are many children who are less fortunate than most of us. Food, shelter and basic education is still a dream for the many unfortunate who cannot afford the rising prices and the standard of living in India.
Therefore, me along with Umang Foundation, have decided to raise money to help support education needs of these less fortunate children.
'Promote Education' is one of Umang Foundations core campaign wherein they distribute notebooks, pens, pencils and other stationery materials to school going students, whose family otherwise are not able to afford the same.
Over the years, Umang Foundation has entered in the Limca Book of Records four times for organizing the largest stationery distribution drive.
Other than providing stationery, Umang addresses the needs of students in many other ways as well - conducting drawing competitions for over 50,000 school students from 150 different schools in Ulhasnagar, Mumbai; around 1,000 books were donated to the School library of Kai Sau Vijayata Mandir; Umang has helped set up library in 60+ schools with [phone redacted] books each school.

Since it is that time of the year where celebrations are at the peak and every household would be looking forward to exchanging gifts with their loved ones. Yes Christmas is all about giving, sharing and loving and hence let's spread this joy with the less fortunate kids and be the secret Santa in their life!
There would be nothing more rewarding than seeing those happy smiles on the faces of the children who deserve a quality education at the minimum.
