Located in the beautiful “Fog Forest” just 1.5 hours outside St. John’s, the Echo Pond Environmental Education Centre is a hub of outdoor adventure, experiential learning, and sustainable living. For over 30 years, we have introduced children and youth to the rugged forests of Newfoundland through our hands-on school program and overnight summer camp. Echo Pond is a home away from home for hundreds of youth – a place to reconnect to nature and build lasting relationships, a place to share with their friends and families, and a place where they can gain leadership skills that will last a lifetime. We’re hard at work to develop new, accessible programs and expand our space so more participants can experience what the wilderness around Echo Pond has to offer.
